Kempen

A warm welcome to all guests and motorhome friends in Kempen. Kempen is a historical and modern town that exudes a friendly welcome at first glance. With some 36,000 inhabitants, the town lies in the north of the district of Viersen on the Lower Rhine. The Old Town with its patrician houses and half-timbered buildings is regarded as one of the loveliest on the entire Lower Rhine. A large number of events (Old Town Festival, Old Town Run, Christmas market) are held in the historical Old Town. The focus is very much on hospitality in Kempen – a place where people love to spend time and vacation away from the day-to-day stresses of life.

The Motorhome Park established in 2011 lies close to the Old Town and is an ideal base for cycle tours on the Lower Rhine Route, the many cycle routes around Kempen or in the neighbouring Netherlands.

Kempen is always worth a visit – whether for a day or an entire week. Relaxation starts here – experience the beauty of the Lower Rhine.
